She is an accomplished Subject Matter Expert & Architect specialising in Microsoft technologies. In addition to her expertise in the field, she is also a technical author, speaker, and entrepreneur. Over the course of her 20-year career, she has had the privilege of working with global companies across various industry sectors, including Banking, Legal, Defence, and Central Government.

As a Woman in Tech, she has not only established herself as a respected authority in her field but has also become a passionate advocate for women’s success. She has been honoured to speak at numerous industry events, where she has inspired and motivated the next generation of young women to pursue careers in STEM through her expertise and personal experiences.

She founded, Bobbi | London™️ bobbildn.com, which represents the culmination of her dedication to championing women. Through this brand, she provides luxury tech and travel products specifically designed to empower and amplify women instilling them with confidence. Ultimately contributing to their growth and success in the workplace.

Lauren Gibson

_Lauren Gibson, has worked globally in leadership, beauty health, education, business development and culture development. She has over 18 years’ experience in the industry, both as a practicing therapist, leader and as Country Managers & Global education director for global brands including as Hydrafacial, Esse Skincare, and Dermalogica. Lauren has a deep understanding of the ibeauty and aesthetics industry, having worked in many markets across the world including her homeland South Africa, and most recently, the UK & Ireland. She has a personal interest in practicing 360 beauty and wellness, keeping up to date on skin-health trends and new scientific and technological developments. As a qualified Transformational Coach, her passion lies in empowering others to become the best version of themselves, especially the youth and female leaders. As a STEM ambassador and advocate for change, she works with mentees within the UK and closely with The British Beauty Council to support the UK government with industry info to allow for positive change._

A seasoned corporate executive with over 25 years in various demanding roles. Paul has extensive experience in Government Relations, Trade Facilitation, Banking, fund raising, corporate communication strategies, marketing, media, and event management within UK, Ghana and Africa.

Paul provides consultancy and advisory services to the Ghana High Commission, UK and various international companies including Invest in Africa, Cloud Africa and Michael Essien Foundation. He is a member of the Ghana Diaspora Homecoming Summit National Planning Committee and a Key member of the Ghana Investment & Opportunities Summit Committee.

Folabi Edward Obembe

Folabi Edward Obembe
Founder and President of Worldview International Group, UK

Folabi Obembe is the CEO of WorldView International Group and Founder of findadmission.com. Folabi Obembe’s company works with more than 500 universities and colleges around the world to facilitate the mobility of students. He was a winner of Forty Under 40 Africa in 2022.

Folabi is a member of World e-Citizens and previously of the e-learning Foundation and has served as a member of the ESRC education research grants Committee for Africa. Mr. Obembe is currently writing a book titled “Educational Establishment”. Mr. Obembe is also the pioneer of the African Student Affairs Conference- a conference designed to equip African Student Affairs professionals with the tools needed to develop extracurricular activities that will allow their graduating students to think of solving societal problems in Africa. 

Joel

Joel Lamptey
Solicitor- Hanson Woods Limited, UK

Joel Lamptey qualified as a Solicitor in 2012 having joined the firm in 2009. He has a range of experience as a defence advocate and civil practitioner covering an extensive range of both criminal and civil law including a variety of appellate cases in crime, civil and judicial review.

His civil practice includes advising and litigating on behalf of clients. He has experience in residential and commercial transactions, including the sale and purchase of all types of residential property, the grant and acquisitions of Leases of shops, offices, pubs, restaurants and property disputes.

Over the years he has developed vast amount of expertise and experience in relation to all types of property transactions which enables him to deliver a fast and efficient service bringing the results required by the client. He works closely with all clients to understand their aims and objectives so he can ensure they are met.

With his experience in the private client sector, he has helped on many civil matters, including non-contentious administration of estates, probate and, including contentious probate disputes, intestacy, applications under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975, disputes relating to testamentary capacity and disputes arising out of the administration of estates and conflicts between personal representatives.

In areas of Immigration and Nationality Law, Joel is outstanding for his high success rate and commitment to achieving positive results for all his clients.

Joel is also an essential team member of the Criminal Defence Team at our office. He is subsequently qualified as a Court and Police Station Duty Solicitor and carries out his work with professionalism and diligence.

He has represented numerous clients during his career from their initial arrest and detention at the Police Station to eventual trial and case conclusion. He has been involved in the preparation of serious and complex criminal cases involving multi-million drug supply cases, murders, conspiracies, rape and other serious sexual offences, assaults and sham marriage conspiracies.

Joel prepares cases as a litigator in the Magistrates Court and the Youth Court. He specialises in all aspects of Magistrates Court advocacy. He represents clients on a Legal Aid and private instruction basis on a daily basis at the Police Station and the Magistrates Court.

Joel prides himself on his diligent attention to detail with the purpose to provide tailored solutions for his clients that exceeds their expectations.

Nyasha Michelle

Nyasha Michelle
BBC, UK

Nyasha Michelle is a young Zimbabwean Journalist at BBC using her voice to tell the untold stories of Africa, its people, and its history. Specializing in Arts, Culture, and Entertainment – she has done reports on various topics including history, entrepreneurship, events, festivals.

The work she is doing for the British Broadcasting Corporation is paving the way for other young Africans. She mentors young aspiring Journalists and has been included on several panels at BBC to provide advice and tips on making it in the industry. She has also been featured in several international magazines including GQ South Africa and the Hype Magazine. She has worked on the youth program that was Executive Produced by Angelina Jolie, titled BBC My World.

She was also the presenter of the Emmy-nominated program for African youths; BBC What’s New.

Furthermore, she won the 2023 Forty Under 40 Journalism Award, the Global African Awards’ 2022 Excellence in Journalism Award and she has been nominated for several other awards including Female Entrepreneur of the Year at Zimbabwean Achievers Awards 2021. Before joining BBC, she was a radio host on the American radio station; WPB Radio on the primetime show; FM Radio 101. She was also crowned Miss Zimbabwe USA’s 2nd Princess. Upon her return to the UK, she began co-presenting a youth program for an international TV station; LoveWorld TV where she thrived so much that she was allowed to create her program.

She managed to arrange for her and her crew to travel to Uganda to do a special series on an organization helping the country’s elderly by providing them with food, legal advice, activities, and social assistance. As a country with an aging population; her TV special played a key role in raising awareness of this issue.

She pitched, self-shot, co-edited & co-produced the BBC iPlayer documentary; “Bride Price” where she explored the African practice of a groom paying money to his bride’s family before the wedding.
She was also a shooting producer on the BBC documentary; “This is Amapiano”.

PURPOSE

To recognize and celebrate 40 emerging leaders under the age of 40 who demonstrate or impact the world personally or professionally through their exceptional leadership.

  • To identify projects and individual achievements that have enabled young achievers to be set apart from their competitors, produced clear and compelling value, return of investment, and other relevant results.
  • To encourage our up-and-coming youth to excellence and succeed in various industries at a very significant and tender age.
